#soweeat vegan chai tea cookies

the christmas baking season has begun. so, let’s not hide the crazy, let’s just get out the spatula, flour, aaaaall the sugar and spices and whirl everything & more together, bake and eat it all up. we started the seasonal bake off with these soft chai tea cookies. just saying this: cinnamon, cardamom & cloves… mmmmh. :)

5g chai tea (ground)
80g sugar
90g margarine
220g flour
40g cornflour
2-3 tbsp vanilla soy milk
1tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt

mix all ingredients together (margerine and soy milk should be cold). let the dough rest in the fridge for about 2 hours. roll out the dough evenly and use your favourite cookies cutters to cut it in shapes. bake the cookies for about 10-15 minutes, until the dough doesn’t look glossy anymore. if you wish, you can decorate the cookies with icing/ chocolate etc., although they already taste mighty fine on their own… ūüėČ
