there is always a time & place for chocolate cookies. over here, we usually dig into a fresh batch of cookies when … ah well, let’s be honest, whenever there is a chance. so here you go. go be happy!
350g dark chocolate
100g brown sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
chocolate drops (white/ dark)
1) carfully melt the butter and chocolate, set aside to let it cool for a few minutes
2) whisk together the eggs and sugar until white and fluffy
3) add the flour & salt
4) slowly pour in the butter/ chocolate mix
5) add the baking soda and chocolate drops
put equal parts of cookie dough on baking tray (should make about 12 depending on the preferred size of each cookie); make sure to leave some space between the cookies to allow them to spread while baking
bake for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C. don’t overbake otherwise the cookies will become dry as straw instead of soft and moist.
